Job Summary:
Responsible for learning and performing all monthly PM’s on machines, equipment, facilities and grounds. Over time you will learn to read and understand equipment manuals, electrical schematics & mechanical drawings. With that knowledge you will advance into and learn trouble shooting and repair on all equipment and building infrastructure. Execute or adapt procedures and techniques for the maintenance of all equipment and buildings. Identify corrective actions to address and notify your supervisor to schedule time to correct it.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and 1 Year Experience
Knowledge:
Mechanical – Mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Forklift Certification is a plus
A Driver’s License is required
Skills:
Must be mechanically inclined. Must have some basic knowledge of machine, building repairs, electrical, and plumbing. Able to read a tape measure, calipers, micrometer, and volt meter.
Primary Job Duties:
Preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment, facilities and grounds.
Assist senior technician when needed.
Occasionally assisting janitorial duties.
