We are looking for a reliable & talented automotive technician (mechanic) to join our growing repair shop. You will be responsible for inspecting customer vehicles, diagnosing problems with the engine or other systems, performing routine maintenance, and completing necessary repairs. Candidates with more than one year experience are preferred.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday & Sunday off.
Must have a valid driver's license & your own tools.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls & systems
- Inspect vehicle engine & mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issue accurately
- Perform basic routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, rotating tire's & checking fluid levels
- Perform repairs thoroughly & accurately
- Document findings & all repairs performed clearly
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Have your own tools
- Proven experience as an automotive technician (mechanic)
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical & electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems & methods
- Ability to handle various tools & heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills
