We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live on-site front desk agent’ If you have a passion for customer service and hospitality, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. We are a small family owned 22 room motel. Exchange for housing a fully furnished suite (also includes a small salary to be discussed) the front desk agent is a live on-site position, all utilities included free Wi-Fi cable laundry on-site off-street parking.

This position would be ideal for an individual or couples with (no experience needed), we are willing to train the right candidate and (will require knowledge of some handyman skills). We are looking for someone who can easily transition into a live-in work environment, who is committed to supporting our managers and who possesses excellent customer service, good leadership skills, trustworthy reliability, and the ability to motivate a positive work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the front desk, greeting, and checking in guest and answering questions and concerns

Giving advice on local restaurants, tourist, and entertainment venues

Answering phones and managing reservations responding to email request

Managing housekeeping, daily light maintenance

Managing the motel and property in absence of the property managers, ensuring the property and rooms are kept neat and clean and able to be with little to no supervision.

Requirements and Skills:

Ability to utilize both oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with guests.

Effective customer service attitude and conflict resolution skills

Excellent time management skills

Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills

Problem solving skills and team player.

Strong interpersonal people skills and multitasking abilities

Well-presented and professional appearance

Ability to lean on the job and computer literacy.

Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations.
