Engineering Lead/Manager, Platform Infrastructure & SRE

What You'll Be DoingLead, manage, and mentor a team of on-site and remote infrastructure and site reliability engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.Partner with the Director of Engineering and other stakeholders to define the roadmap and vision for Cricut's platform infrastructure.Take ownership of our AWS environment, driving best practices in security, cost management, and scalability.Champion and expand our "infrastructure-as-code" philosophy across the organization.Oversee production monitoring, incident response, and blameless post-mortem processes to continuously improve system reliability.Develop and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs) for critical production systems.Act as a key consultant for our feature-focused pillar and pod teams, ensuring they have the infrastructure resources and support required to deliver their projects successfully.Identify and mentor talented software engineers who have an affinity for infrastructure, creating a successful pipeline for growing the SRE team's capabilities.Collaborate closely with the remote SRE Manager to divide responsibilities, scale the team's efforts, and ensure seamless 24/7 reliability.
