Become a maker of possible with us.Job Summary:BD Medical Pharmaceutical System (MPS), formerly known as BD Medical-Pharmaceutical Systems, develops innovative technology, services and solutions that help pharmaceutical companies manage their products throughout the product lifecycle. The Company provides a broad range of technologies to customers in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare industries for use in medical device manufacturing, including single-use systems used in vaccine development and filling, drug delivery systems, pre-fillable syringes, self-injection systems, needle technologies, safety systems, and medical process automation. Our solutions are designed to optimize our customers' production processes and increase revenue by improving product quality and reducing costs associated with material waste, downtime and maintenance. We offer the most extensive range of products and services to the pharmaceutical industry.Responsibilities:

Assemble equipment according to blueprints, drawings or layout sketches; prepare equipment for testing.

Operate basic electronic hand tools such as drill, pneumatic driver, impact wrench, etc.

Mount, install, and wire electrical components such as sensors, switches, relays, circuit breakers, etc.

Prepare subassemblies and perform final assembly operations on equipment according to specifications.

Apply knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metalworking practices, layout techniques, and precision measurement techniques.

Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems at the component level.

Follow technical diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and engineering specifications.

Maintain records of production runs and reports on quality checks performed.

Assess and recommend equipment modifications for improved performance.

Support Engineering activities by providing feedback on existing designs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED preferred

Prior experience in mechanical assemblies, hydraulic, electronics, pneumatics, vacuum systems preferred

Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and GMP requirements preferred

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
