Description Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks to support our finance department. Your duties will include maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll, and reconciling bank statements. You will also play a key role in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing support to senior accountants. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our financial processes.Key Responsibilities:
Process and maintain accounts payable and receivable transactions
Reconcile financial discrepancies and assist in financial reporting
Prepare and process payroll for employees
Manage invoice processing and vendor relations
Perform regular data entry and ensure accuracy in financial records
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments
Ensure timely filing and organization of financial documents and records
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
Requirements
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams, vendors, and customers
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze discrepancies and resolve financial issues efficiently
Confidentiality: High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Mathematical Skills: Basic understanding of mathematics and ability to perform simple calculations
