We are a growing company looking to fill the following position:
Structural Steel Erector
Qualified Candidates should possess the following:
OSHA10 for Construction required
FCAW 232 or Coreshield 8 Certified
Structural erecting and field welding experience
Fluency in weld fit up, bolting, plumbing and bracing
Ability to read and understand of shop/erection drawings, weld symbols and welding processes
Torch cutting
Qualified in rigging
Comfortable in field environment with personal gear that can handle our variant weather conditions.
Must be able to set up, diagnose, keep clean and functional welders, suitcases and torches.
Layout and hand tools
Ideal Candidates will also possess 1 or more of the following:
SMAW 7018 and puddle weld cert preferred but not required
Dual Shield Certified, (.045 and 1/16) preferred but not required
Telehandler/forklift Certified preferred but not required
Scissor Lift Certified preferred but not required
Extended Man Reach Lift Certified preferred but not required
Crane Signal Certified preferred but not required
Fall Protection Certified preferred but not required
Subpart R Certified preferred but not required
Compensation is dependent upon experience.
