Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Glass/Glazier Installer to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality installation services and customer support, interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings, and maintaining a well-stocked inventory of equipment and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in glass installation, be familiar with local/national codes, and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide reliable, high-quality customer support and consultation while on the job site.

Perform installations, upgrades, and additions for glass shower doors, enclosures, railings, mirrors, countertops, and other projects.

Install metal framework and hardware.

Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.

Maintain necessary truck stock/inventory with the warehouse team.

Organize and utilize technical resources, materials, and support for efficient task execution.

Monitor and ensure progress and completion of tasks.

Complete and submit all task-related activities, productivity, and documentation timely.

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Undertake additional projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

At least one year of relevant experience.

Working knowledge of glass installation equipment and all grades of glass.

Familiarity with local/national codes.

Ability to read and install according to drawings/instructions.

Valid driver’s license and ability to clear pre-employment screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specific product certifications/licenses as required by national, state, and local codes.

25% to 50% proficiency in product offerings.

Vocational/Technical degree in a relevant field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in construction or custom glass, metal framework, and hardware industry is a plus.

Experience with commercial installation services

Physical Requirements:

Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands, reach, push, pull, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.

Must have good vision abilities (close, distance, peripheral, depth, color).

Ability to lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.

Full-time, flexible schedule with on-call availability.

Able to travel on short notice and drive for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay based on experience. $20.00-$30.00/HR
