We are seeking a Commercial Rough & Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, or building and installing the framework for commercial construction projects, such as walls, floors, and roof structures. You will work with wood, steel, and other materials to create the skeletal structure of buildings. In addition, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of detailed carpentry work such as trim, molding, doors, and cabinetry in commercial spaces. Your work will contribute to the final aesthetic and functional quality of the project.
Responsibilities:
Construct and install wooden and steel framing for commercial buildings
Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to blueprints and project specifications
Install floor systems, wall studs, rafters, trusses, and beams
Ensure that all framing work is level, square, and plumb
Install and finish wood trim, baseboards, crown molding, doors, windows, and cabinetry
Install and secure fixtures, hardware, and accessories as required
Ensure all finish work is of the highest quality, with attention to detail and craftsmanship
Work with other trades to coordinate installation of custom woodwork and other finishes
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years of commercial rough and finish carpentry experience
Must have own framing and finish carpentry tools (e.g., miter saw, nail guns, tape measure, power drills)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with other trades
Ability to work independently and with a team
Must be able to pass a drug screen and E-Verify
Reliable Transportation
OSHA certification is a plus
