Summary:
Inspects circuit card assemblies for conformance to IPC 610 and J-Standards, drawingsand customer requirements.Perform in-process and finish inspectionsduring the electronic and mechanical assemblies to industry standards, customer standards, and assembly documentation.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Inspect electrical assembly soldering per customer standards and IPC 610 requirements and J-Standards
Perform in-process inspections on assembly processes to confirm conformance to standard andcustomer requirements.
Inspect mechanical parts and assemblies using tools such as but not limited to micrometers, calipers,
Perform finished inspections to include documentation review and audits and familiarize suppliers withestablished processes,policies, procedures,and standards.
Records and maintains inspection records of type and number of defects.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a QA Inspector
High school diploma/GED
Experience with PCBA's and soldering assembly inspections applying requirements of IPC 610 and J-Standard
Good communication skills and ability to carry out instructions in written,oral, or diagram form.
Ability to perform multiple tasks ina fast-paced environment to ensure delivery requirements
IPC Training Certification within the past 5 years.
