Mountainside Hospitality LLC, has partnered with Wasatch Mountain and Soldier Hollow Golf Courses, operating two amazing food and beverage locations in Midway, Utah. The locations offer a full-service restaurant, banquet space, conference rooms, and a bar and grill. We are seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor who has extensive food and beverage management, event and banquet management experience. Food & Beverage Supervisor
This position will report to the General Manager and is responsible and accountable for the success of all food and beverage operations. This includes revenue growth, managing budgets, COGS, labor controls, inventory controls, and bar controls for the food operations.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that the defined menu is being followed and guest service expectations are being met;
Provide effective leadership to build camaraderie and high performing teams;
Effective coaching & mentoring of the Restaurant and Kitchen staff;
Ensures staff is trained in and understands their respective technical skills;
Leads the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of qualified staff;
Creates labor schedules for front and back of house;
Works with staff to ensure adherence to safety standards;
Achieves financial goals and reports regularly to management;
Ensures food ordering and inventory levels are appropriate;
Ensures strict compliance with operational & Corporate standards, as well as federal/state/local laws and ordinances;
Maintains professional image and appearance standards.
Requirements:
Be self-motivated with ability to perform with the highest professional and ethical standards
Possess strong and proven leadership skills
Possess excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
Possess banquet management skills
Have the ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth
Possess intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS system functionality.
Possess professional communication skills
Be able to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Be capable of spending long shifts on feet with frequent bending, twisting and squatting
Education & Experience:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent College culinary degree preferred
Experience: Minimum 5 (five) years F&B Supervision experience
POS experience
ServSafe Manager certification required.
Salary Range: Pays up to $45,000 depending on experience
