Pearson School Assessments is seeking a highly organized and proactive Scheduling and Operations Coordinator to join our Onboarding & Professional Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing our training schedules, ensuring efficiency in program delivery, and managing the day-to-day operational activities within the department. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail, with a focus on supporting school districts in their coordinating professional development sessions.Key Responsibilities:Schedule Management:Develop, implement, and maintain detailed schedules for training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions.Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in enrollment, trainer availability, and school district needs.Coordinate with school district administrators and department heads to ensure alignment of training schedules with educational objectives.Communication and Coordination:Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and operational matters within the department.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including school district administrators, trainers, and participants, to ensure smooth operations.Revenue Recognition:Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate revenue recognition for training programs.Monitor and report on revenue generated from training and professional development activities.Ensure that all financial transactions related to training programs are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.Problem-Solving:Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and handle unexpected challenges in training delivery.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in education, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.Proven experience in managing complex schedules and optimizing operational processes.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
