The ideal candidate will have interest and/or experience in a wide variety of topics including epidemiology, public health, microbiology, statistics, and mathematical modeling. This position supports a wide range of strategic, proactive, and capacity building activities designed to enable and enhance research and may include strategic research advancement, communication of research and research opportunities, enhancement of collaboration and team science, and proposal development.Responsibilities

With basic oversight from a supervisor, assists with administrative tasks on large/complex projects & proposals

Supports data collection and reporting needs

Attends and participates in Investigator and staff meetings. Advises team regarding specific study assignments and timelines.

Coordinates meetings for the study team, collaborators, and the sponsor. Prepares and disseminates meeting agendas and meeting minutes.

Assists in planning and coordinating in-person meetings with project sponsors, partners, and project team members.

Support formatting and basic copy-editing including layout

Provide proposal and award information-related metrics; Disseminate grant opportunities and proposal development tools

Operations support for community building – help to organize events, seminars, etc.

Problems encountered are varied, but generally with precedent. Resolution may require some analysis and interpretation, requiring innovation and creativity.

Has developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled through job-related training and on-the-job experience

May perform functions required of a Study Coordinator as necessary.
