Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per inspection plans and specification requirements.
Conduct routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications.
Utilize inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to complete various inspection tasks.
Support the paper document archival process, including preparation of pallets for shipment and scanning of documents for electronic archival.
Initiate Non-Conformance reports and support NC and CAPA activities as needed.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA or Technical Degree preferred.
Basic computer skills to regularly access and document information.
Basic written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical device regulations and FDA regulatory standards preferred.
Ability to perform essential job functions in an office environment, including long periods of sitting and occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.
