Summary: The purpose of this position is to play a key role in the development and implementation of corporate projects that support new and current business objectives, driving for continuous improvement across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads cross-functional project teams and manages operational and strategic projects to deliver outcomes, benefits, and ultimately value to the organization by ensuring project work is completed and requirements are verified.
Collects, researches, and defines requirements and scope for all projects.
Analyzes, summarizes, and presents on project status, issues, risks, and plans to stakeholders and senior leadership. Works with internal and external stakeholders to gain alignment, resolve issues, and drive action.
Verifies project alignment to programs, portfolios, and company strategy to ensure they meet objectives while supporting the overall organization's roadmap and goals.
Utilizes project management software, methods, tools, and techniques to organize and document project planning, work, performance, schedules, costs, and issues. Be able to tailor approach and project lifecycles to meet the needs of the specific project(s).
Optimizes risk responses, demonstrates leadership behaviors, effectively engages with stakeholders, and creates a collaborative team environment.
Focuses on value, builds quality into processes and deliverables, and enables change to achieve the envisioned future state.
Basic Qualifications:
A four-year college degree in business, project management, or related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of planning, execution, and management of projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge and experience with financial industry processes and practices is preferred
PMP, CSM, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent certification preferred.

Excellent at presentation; verbal and written communication skills required

Microsoft Office Suite
