Job Description

Access Development is seeking an experienced, successful Product Manager to work with our team of talented A-players located in Salt Lake City. The Product Manager will innovate and develop new consumer-focused products (including mobile interactivity, points-based incentive programs, and persona-based segmentation) with features that exceed customer expectations. In addition, this position will manage all product development processes from product conception through launch. The ideal candidate will rely upon his/her experience gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, MRDs, PRDs, scope documents, working with sales, marketing, IT and other groups to guide business requirements into technology features, and guiding the marketing of these new products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

This role requires a motivated self-starter who can hit the ground running, quickly taking on tasks and applying past experience to overcome challenges. Specifically, this would include:

  • Managing the product roadmap for existing products as well as using your knowledge to innovate and create new products.
  • Driving product evolution based on research/testing/customer feedback that ultimately transforms MVPs into profitable lines of business
  • Understanding the target customer and boosting customer satisfaction by relentlessly finding ways to add product value
  • Efficiently and effectively collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and other internal shareholders to ensure client needs are met
  • Working closely with engineers on implementing and building new features and products
  • Providing direction to UX designers to create and test customer experiences that improve conversion and user satisfaction.
  • Leveraging industry knowledge and understanding of technological and economic trends to drive product performance
  • Identifying and monitoring KPIs to fully optimize the customer experience

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 to 3 years of technology business analysis, program or product management experience with primary focus on improving usability & user satisfaction, increasing usage and boosting conversion rates
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Marketing, Business or equivalent, plus a history of continuous, relevant learning through reading, seminars or professional organizations
  • Demonstrable broad, understanding of current web & mobile app development technologies and how they can be applied to meet product and customer requirements with an understanding of analytics, reporting, tracking
  • History of clearly and concisely managing a product roadmap by documenting product requirements, artifacts and features (including MRDs, PRDs), and the ability to do so in accordance with established standards
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal & written) with the ability to do detailed reviews with engineering as well as executive-level updates. strong people-centric demeanor
  • Experience using A/B testing to enhance the user experience
  • Experience using web analytics to drive product decisions
  • Strong teamwork, decision-making, documentation and analytical skills
  • Experience and affinity for UX/UI design and creating an extraordinary customer experience.
  • Experience with mobile technology a plus
  • Knowledge of the Online Travel Agency (OTA) industry is a plus.
