Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, and/or electrical discrepancies on various Ground Support Equipment (GSE) systems and subsystems.
Bring equipment back to life! Repair, rebuilt/overhaul components, such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, and hydraulic systems. - sorry no Transformers, it didn't work out so well for the world last time.
Disassemble components, inspect for quality factors, and reassemble to engineering specifications.
Keeping the environment safe - follow and encourage regulatory commissions, OSHA compliances and EPA regulations.
Professional interaction with internal and external customers.Your areas of expertise and skills that matter the most for this role
3+ years of service repair experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills. Experience with PLC and HVAC is a plus.
Experience repairing and maintaining Mobile Heavy Equipment and related components (diesel-powered vehicles a plus).
GSE experience is a plus
Basic knowledge/performance of corrosion control utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Experience using repair manuals, wiring (electrical) diagrams, and schematics (electrical and hydraulic) to troubleshoot and/or rebuild failed components.
Strong, not the Hulk or Arnold Schwarzengger strong but the ability to lift 50lbs stand, push, pull, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and work in awkward positions and tight areas.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.Complimentary skills to have
