Security Operations Center (GSOC) Director will lead/oversee all aspects of PwC US Firm’s Global Security Operations Center and strategy. Requires a strategic thinker with an enhanced background in security operations, risk management, and threat intelligence within Latin and/or South America. Developing and implementing a comprehensive GSOC strategy aligned with the Firm’s objectives and risk profile;
Leading and managing the strategic direction and growth of the Security Operations Centers, including a staff of seven (7) who monitor and respond to incidents;
Acting as the liaison to the Firm’s crisis management leader;
Providing strategic guidance and direction on security policies, procedures, and industry-leading practices to mitigate risks and enhance security posture;
Presenting with cross-functional teams to identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging trends, and developing proactive measures to address them;
Establishing and maintaining relationships with external partners, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to stay informed about security threats and regulatory requirements;
Conducting regular risk assessments and security audits to identify gaps and areas for improvement and developing action plans to address findings;
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of security operations and processes;
Developing and delivering training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on security risks and promoting a culture of security awareness;
Preparing and presenting regular reports and updates to senior management on security metrics, incidents, and trends;
Staying abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in security operations and incorporating them into the Firm's security strategy;
Having an understanding of security threats, geopolitical dynamics, and regulatory requirements;
Exhibiting a proven track record of leadership and success in global security operations, risk management, or related field;
Possessing enhanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate security risks;
Showcasing enhanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the Firm;
Proving an ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
Showing willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required; and,
Exhibiting full proficiency in English and Spanish.
