Design Center Consultant

David Weekley Homes is accepting applications for an upcoming Design Consultant opportunity at our New Home Design Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.The Design Consultant will offer design guidance and product knowledge to our customers as they make the selections to customize their David Weekley Home. This person will also set expectations with home buyers regarding the selection process.Responsibilities include:Provide enthusiastic and professional service for customer calls and visits to Design Center.Educate the buyer and set realistic expectations regarding the design selection process.Offer design guidance and product knowledge to both internal and external customers.Prepare decorator selection packages for quick move-in homes.Assist designers/buyers with selections to customize their home and pricing out options.Enter customer information/selections into computer system.Meet with vendors to review new product offerings.Maintain design center sampling, signage and inventory.Coordinate with construction manager to confirm correct features, options and upgrades.Various tasks including answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing reports, filing, organizing, and interacting with internal and external customers.
