HRSA is supporting the University of Utah School of Medicine to develop LICs. Funding from HRSA for this project expires on June 30, 2027, and financial support for this position cannot be assured after that time and may be terminated.Responsibilities

Co-creates and manages multiple complex student schedules/calendars with regard to both clinical and didactic experiences, including scheduling orientations, transition weeks, and exams.

Acts as the contact for LIC students, faculty, staff, and preceptors, with regards to all aspects of the LIC , in conjunction with the LIC director and Phase 2 Director.

Works in conjunction with the LIC directors and Phase 2 Director to ensure completion of all relevant clerkship goals, objectives, and requirements.

Coordinates small group/didactic sessions by scheduling dates, rooms, facilitators, and substitutes; monitors attendance and reports absences.

Oversees and coordinates student information on the Canvas site, ensuring the upload of all relevant course materials, reading assignments, objectives, announcements, etc. provided by faculty and course directors; acts as liaison between course directors, faculty, and students to ensure effective communication and understanding of requirements.

Obtains assignments from students and sends reminders to students (via canvas and email).

Ensures accurate posting of grades; generates exam reports to measure student and question performance for course directors.

Tracks and collects evaluations from preceptors; communicates changes to the evaluation process and ensures timely collection, accuracy, and filing of evaluation forms; enters grades in the system and corrects discrepancies.

Coordinates materials for faculty development sessions and LIC team meetings, including developing agendas and minutes. Schedules virtual or in-person meetings (with reservation of rooms as indicated).

Performs other related duties as assigned.
