Air Export Agent- Cargo Logistics

Job: Air Export Agent – help to schedule and monitor air shipments! Air Export involves transporting many different types of cargo throughout the world.  It is a high paced environment with many learning and unique situations that come up along the way.  it involves collaboration with commercial airline carriers, customs, and many other Government agencies.  There is never a dull moment in air export!Shift Mon-Fri 11am-8pm Air Export Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace Air Export files and reportingUse Workflows on daily basisEnsure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customersEnsure accurate and timely client and Service Providers billingCollaborate with our customer service team in processing international shipments, meeting customer service standards.Contribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved)Always follow compliance requirements with internal and external regulations in accordance with government regulations.Understand department process flow, looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivityEnsure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and are in place and updated when neededMeet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedureOverseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
