Site Reliability Engineer - DevOps / InfrastructureDirect HireSalt Lake City, UtahPay Target $120k+, DOE

Job Brief: This is working in a software product team. You will be dedicated to supporting 4 development teams of up to 30 people. Cross Functional groups of Product, Analysis, Test, Dev, UX, Database and such. There is a core group of other SRE's and DevOps engineers in the company which that you will collaborate and can share / utilized architecture and process flows.

Company is currently private cloud systems. Been working on initiatives to migrate to the public cloud, and will continue those efforts for the next 12-18 months. You would also help this team with strategy and roadmap to also migrate them to Azure too. All these groups are in either Utah or Arizona, while the rest of the company is international.

This group focuses on the funding platform of financial assets. Ramp up for learning their products and becoming proficient with their customer products is 12-18 months.

For now, these teams work remote, and will transition again sometime in the near future to either full time onsite or occasional onsite back into the offices.

Required Skills / Experience:
  • 5+ years Sr DevOps & Site Reliability experience on the Infrastructure side
    • Continuous Integration & Delivery (list all tools you have experience from)
    • Creating Virtual Deployments
    • Salt, Terraform
    • Windows and Linux engineering experience
    • Performance Monitoring tools experience
  • Azure public cloud virtualization experience
    • Terraform and any Azure tools
  • 5+ years infrastructure engineering experience and with tools such as:
    • Log Aggregation tools
    • Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers
  • Security Tools such as Rast, Dast, Sast
  • Scripting Tools experience such as Bash, Powershell
Background check and drug screen prior to start

Desired Skills / Experience:
  • Any programming languages experience such as Python, JavaScript, C#
  • Microservices Patterns ( secrets management, continuous delivery, etc)
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (Banking, Healthcare, Government or similar)
  • College Degree in technical area
