Candidate can be located within the contiguous 48 United States.The Public Sector InDirect Reseller Program Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop, maintain, and grow sales with current and potential customers. The role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external strategic plan that ensures MSC ongoing profitable growth with Diversity and Small Business Resellers. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs a leadership role among the Public Sector Account Management Team and all relevant parties; both internal and external associated with the Diversity and Small Business Reseller program. Offers guidance, support and project management to build and execute programs.

Effectively develops, leads, and executes sales strategies that ensures ongoing profitable growth while building a positive brand in the market for the MSC reseller program.

Identifies and prioritizes, with the assistance of various functional areas, opportunities for improvement of the reseller program and process enhancements relative to scalable growth.

Develops a strategic program level plan for MSC that enhances how MSC can do business as a Public Sector Contractor with Diversity & Small Businesses both as a wholesale provider of goods and services to small business for their contracts and partnerships for small business to sell and market relevant MSC prime contracts. Leads and maintains executive level relationships with resellers, Government contracting officers and decision makers. Including contract management.

Takes accountability for the development of solutions and processes for overcoming challenges and looks towards the future to anticipate potential problems with the Reseller Program.

Works with legal to prepare agreements and presents these to small business owners. The agreements address program commitments within established and new Contracts, RFQs, and Program Opportunities

Develops and fosters a high performing and respectful team environment for all associates.

Interprets sales goals and initiatives so that priorities can be balanced, manages timelines in an effective and cost-effective manner.

Participates and leads management level meetings, provides input for all reseller projects and opportunities under discussion.

Displays coaching style leadership with internal and external stakeholders while managing the performance of multiple programs. Participates in quarterly business reviews.

Develops training and collateral material as applicable for the Reseller programs.

Manages successful utilization of the Reseller program with the assistance of the field.

Creates and executes both Program Level and Large Account Level Plans, including Playbooks for both internal and external success.

Fosters the MSC Culture with the Public Sector Team and throughout MSC to ensure fulfillment of the organizations vision and unity of purpose.

Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in business or the equivalent experience is required.

Minimum of 7 years sales management and leadership experience with complex customers.

Demonstrable familiarity with the Public Sector contracting structure, small business value propositions, goals, and targeted socio-economic requirements.

Familiarity with the Public Sector procurement process including Request for Quotes, Contracts, GSA MAS Schedules, BOA’s, BPA’s and Federal Strategic Sourcing initiatives

Has a background with Operations, Logistics and Transportation programs including cost to serve elements relevant to growing a profitable Reseller program.

Has a demonstrated ability to build a business plan that incorporates multiple cross functional departments to help drive an MSC Public Sector Programs and Strategic Plan.

Computer literacy and proficiency with all Microsoft office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, are required.

Excellent organizational, time-management, and planning skills are necessary

Knowledge of project management techniques and processes are required.

Business analysis experience and the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities are required.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.

Excellent sales, negotiation, and team building skills and techniques are required.

Understanding of financial performance and profitability is required.

Must be a continual learner and display a high level of business acumen in working with large complex customers

Analytical and Strategic thinking required.

A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time may be required.

This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).

Compensation starting at $111,650 - $175,450 depending on experience. Compensation listed includes base salary + commission.

The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
