Driver/Warehouse
We are searching for a Driver/Warehouse person. This employee will assist Store Manager or Branch Manager and is expected to assist the entire store team to enable their full customer service capacity. Accountability includes encouragement of and nurturing a cooperative interaction among sales and service associates, shipping, delivery, accounting, recordkeeping and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate the ability to perform all warehouse functions
Complete regular progress reviews and meet Standards of Performance
Create an Individual Development Plan when directed by store manager and demonstrate skills as learned
Know the service standard for receiving, shipping, delivery and sales
Use the computer system functions needed to complete assignments
Gain and demonstrate knowledge of the company catalog
Co-ordinate receiving and check-in for all vendor and Corp orders
Organize the warehouse shelving and storage for ease of order filling
Maintain receiving records, note and troubleshoot receiving errors.
Participate in training by peers and vendors as assigned by store manager
Prepare to back up all warehouse functions
Assist in resolution of all customer problems and complaints
Manage warehouse housekeeping to assure order and cleanliness
Follow all safety regulations and recommendations – assist warehouse lead in training for warehouse safety, safe operation of trucks and equipment
Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
Must have a clean driving record and a Medical Card
