Their duties include completing intake paperwork and updating patient records, taking necessary x-rays, sterilizing and organizing dental tools and assisting during dental procedures.Duties/ResponsibilitiesWelcome and greet patientsUpdate and maintain patient recordsTake X-rays and intraoral photos of patientsSchedule patient appointmentsPresent treatment to patientsAssist clinicians during dental proceduresSterilize instruments and clean rooms and ensure all infection control policies are being followedPrepare operatories for patient visitsRequired Skills/AbilitiesCertified according to state regulationsX-ray CertifiedAbility to move fastAbility to engage with patientsEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of practice management softwareX-Ray Certified (depending on state)2+ years in dental assisting is preferred but not requiredAble to take impressionsCEREC Knowledge and ability to image and design restorationsPhysical DemandsIs occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and armsIs frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.Has the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.Works in moderate noise May be required to lift packages up to 25 poundsPlease apply online with Dentive at: https://dentive.rippling-ats.com/job/427256/dental-assistant-matthews?s=cl
