McWane Ductile- Utah was built in 1926 located in Provo, Utah. The company is currently seeking candidates forHealth and Safety TrainerThe Safety and Training Coordinator is a management support position within the Health and Safety Department, reporting to the Health and Safety Manager. This position supports the operation of a foundry. Applicants interested are expected to know the principles, values and behaviors of the McWane Compass.Responsibilities Include:

Implements and administers the health and safety training program.

Develops and maintains training content, testing and materials needed to comply with company policies/procedures and regulatory standards.

Develops and maintains a training schedule for all employees.

Evaluates effectiveness of health and safety training and identifies and implements improvements as needed.

Implements and administers the health and safety orientation program for new employees and contractors.

Maintains all training documentation.

Monitors and supports health and safety training requirements to ensure completion.

Conducts regular facility audits to ensure compliance with company training requirements, policies/products, and regulatory standards.

Provides direction and leadership for the facility in PPE and JSA management.

Manages corporate training reporting requirements.

All additional environmental duties as needed, as directed by the Manager.

QualificationsDesired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in safety, Training Management, or closely related field.

1-3 years of experience in an industrial facility working in safety and/or training is strongly preferred.

Understanding of Federal and State safety regulations and training requirements.

Ability to prioritize, manage, and work on multiple projects.

Proficiency in Office software and experience with managing web-based software.

Ability to demonstrate effective presentation and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and accomplish work without close supervision.

Must be willing to adjust the work schedule as necessary to ensure all shift training requirements are satisfied.

Experience in developing, managing, and implementing JSAs, PPE Assessments, and ergonomic controls is strongly preferred.

Certification in OSHA 500 and 501 Courses is strongly preferred.

The ability to prepare, interpret, and manage data is strongly preferred.
