The Assistant Director of Housekeeping plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the resort.  Working closely with the Director of Housekeeping, the Assistant Director will be responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, managing daily operations, and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the housekeeping department. This role is crucial in upholding the resort's reputation for exceptional guest service and cleanliness.  Key Responsibilities:Assist in supervising and coordinating housekeeping staff, providing leadership and support to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the property to meet or exceed guest expectations.Collaborate with the Director of Housekeeping to plan and manage work schedules based on peak occupancy periods and special events.Participate in regular property inspections to identify maintenance and cleanliness needs.Stay informed on new cleaning tools and methods and help implement improvements that enhance service quality and efficiency.Assist in conducting 90-day and annual performance evaluations for housekeeping staff, providing feedback and establishing performance goals.Support the Director of Housekeeping in managing the department’s budget by monitoring expenses and recommending cost-saving strategies.Contribute to achieving the property's financial goals by understanding the department's impact on overall performance.Help ensure resort service standards are consistently met to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction.Support the development, coaching, mentoring, and training of housekeeping team members to promote a culture of excellence.Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping.
