Print Operations Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist role based in Orem, Utah. The job function revolves around managing printing materials and ensuring their accuracy to meet requested standards and guidelines. You will be working closely with multiple departments to complete needed printing projects and resolve any arising issues. The industry is primarily the telecom provider sector.Responsibilities: Work closely with multiple departments to complete needed printing projects. Ensure the accuracy of printing materials to meet requested standards and guidelines. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Work from operating instructions prepared by programmers, users, or operations managers. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms. Set controls on the computer and on peripheral devices required to run a particular job. Ensure that the automated equipment and operating systems perform correctly. Assist programmers and systems analysts to test and debug new programs. May be required to sort and deliver mail within the building. Utilize skills in operations, materials handling, typing, and communication to perform your duties effectively. Requirements Proficient in operations management and materials handling Exceptional typing skills with a fast WPM rate Strong communication skills both written and verbal Familiarity with printing procedures and printer hardware operation Ability to make necessary adjustments to operations or procedures Knowledge of operating systems and peripheral devices Possession of 10-key skills Experience with check runs and delivery of mail Basic understanding of mechanical engineering and ability to interpret diagrams Experience in handling concrete materials Ability to debug applications and handle printing projects Familiarity with EO/IR systems and other technical tools.
