Layton Weight Loss Clinic, a brand new clinic opening in June 2024 behind the RC Willey, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our thriving team. We're committed to empowering patients on their weight loss journeys through personalized care and innovative approaches, including semaglutide treatment.
As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring a positive patient experience from day one. Our clinic operates on a schedule of Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. We're looking for people who are eager to grow with us!
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting physicians with patient consultations and examinations.
Performing weight-related measurements and vital signs.
Preparing medications and treatment plans according to physician orders.
Providing patient education on weight loss strategies and semaglutide therapy.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Building rapport with patients and offering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (a plus).
Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and weight loss procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Proficient in computer software
We Offer:
Competitive salary and benefits package (Salary: $45,000 - $100,000).
