Currently seeking an Insurance Specialist to join the team in Woods Cross, UT!Our client's mission is to enhance the quality of life for our patients through personalized care, whether in our skilled nursing facilities or in the comfort of their own homes. They also offer a continuum of care that includes hospice, home health, and skilled nursing, ensuring seamless transitions and consistent support during every stage of care.Pay: $19/hr Schedule: Rotating Shift Mon-Fri 8:30-5 and 9:30-6 Rotating Saturday every 6-weeks Start Date: 1-2 Weeks Post Offer Job Description

Conducts insurance verification and eligibility for services.

Assists in obtaining or validating pre-certification and authorizations.

Make patients fully aware of financial obligations and eligibility.

Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations.

Assists with problem resolution on claims, billing, and eligibility issues with carriers.

Answer incoming phone calls from clinics to verify coverage and copays in a courteous manner.

Skills & Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent

Demonstrate excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone

Basic computer knowledge

Familiar with a basic understanding of medical terminology

Previous experience related to insurance authorization, billing and rate negotiation preferred

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
