AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager based in Salt Lake City, Utah.The Water/Wastewater Project Manager will lead and support projects for water and wastewater clients primarily in the Salt Lake area, but may also include regional and national projects involving planning, designing, and preparing plans which may be comprised of water distribution and sewage collection systems, pump stations, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Job ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Project management and technical oversight of team members (AECOM and subconsultants) for planning, design, and construction phase services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects including water pipelines, sewage collection systems, pump stations, storage tanks, water treatment systems, wastewater treatment systems, etc.Identifying new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinating and participating in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promoting AECOM’s capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.Participating in project opportunity evaluation, consultant selection, and the preparation of AECOM's qualification/experience statements.Coordinating and participating in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafting complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.Directing project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitoring subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.Preparing project work plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets, and communicating these to project team members; monitoring/managing project production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.Supervising technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff and their workloads.Monitoring and reporting financial status of projects to technical managers.Performing other duties as the supervisor may deem necessary.
