This person will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of exciting transit projects with the transit/rail group with a focus on supporting the regional Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) design team. The AECOM office provides upward mobility, opportunities for growth and leadership.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Serve as an AECOM team and/or discipline lead, deputy project manager and/or technical task leader on planning studies, preliminary design studies, and final design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) or Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.Coordinate, cooperate, and work collaboratively with others team members as well as support business development.Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings for BRT and LRT infrastructure.Coordinate tasks and provides leadership and mentorship to entry-level engineers.Perform work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with little supervision.Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position and demonstrated experience with the types of tasks that will be required.
