Description Job Description:We are currently looking for a dynamic and proficient Senior Data Analytics Engineer, who will serve as a vital contributor to our data management and analytics department. The ideal candidate's primary role is to leverage advanced technical abilities in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence to solve complex business problems.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and report models. Create and optimize SQL-based scripts and Python codes. Develop advanced star schema data models for our platforms. Interface directly with non-technical end users to define/refine requirements iteratively. Work cohesively with cloud data warehouses across various platforms. Manage version control using Git source control.Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of experience with Power BI and SQL. Proven experience with Python with at least 5 years of involvement. Experience with star schema data modeling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Practical experience with Cloud data warehouse on any platform. Proven experience with Git source control.Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Snowflake and DBT; Strong SQL is an acceptable substitute. Familiarity with Airflow; strong Python is an acceptable substitute. Cloud experience, ideally with AWS and/or Azure. Background in general business domains (sales, marketing, accounting, finance) or relevant industry domains (agriculture, trucking, oil, transload). Experience working in an agile team or with Jira.
