Program Lead/Instructor, Data AnalyticsLocation: Lehi, UTStatus: Full-Time Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.Pay / Salary: $72,000-80,000 SUMMARYMTECH is looking for a candidate who can collaborate and assist in creating learning content in Data Analytics as well as teach that content to a class of learners. As the new Program Lead, you will initially be completing the program curriculum in preparation for the class to begin August 2024.The successful candidate should have strong technical writing skills, experience leading instruction with adult learners, and solid Data Analytics skills.The candidate will coordinate the program and instruction with the Director of Technology and Service Programs to ensure that students are getting the best possible education and training for Data Analytics employment. The candidate will update and create curriculum to keep the class current with the newest technologies. In addition, they will work with students to help them succeed with the coursework and allow them the best opportunities to find long term work at the end of class, build lasting relationships with companies in the surrounding areas and help students find employment.BENEFITS

RESPONSIBILITIES OF PROGRAM LEAD/INSTRUCTOR, DATA ANALYTICSResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Oversight of Program

Instructing half to full load, generally a full load

Curriculum development and updates

Accreditation requirements

Annual advisory meetings

Program syllabus, Canvas courses

Represent program with other technical colleges, with employers, and outside events

COMPETENCIES OF PROGRAM LEAD/INSTRUCTOR, DATA ANALYTICS

Ability to work as a member of a team and lead

Skilled in Program subject matter, and demonstrate continuing education related to Program

Experience in and ability to successfully interact with high school and adult students, parents, business and industry representatives, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner

Computer skills, Excel, word, creating PDFs, Avid, Human Resources system, etc.

Ability to navigate software, including Canvas, Northstar, HRIS system

Dedication to students is essential

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, PROGRAM LEAD/INSTRUCTOR, DATA ANALYTICS

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field

Knowledge in data software including, but not limited to, advanced spreadsheets, SQL, Python and R for data analytics, Tableau, and Power BI.

Understanding of statistics and probability, data manipulation and analysis, data visualization, machine learning, programming, data storage and querying, domain knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving, communication and collaboration.

Knowledge in manufacturing analytics, material science, technical writing, root cause analysis, constraints theory and predictive maintenance a plus.

Minimum 3 years related work experience

Education and leadership experience preferred
