Job Description
Xactware is the leading provider of software solutions and services for property claims and underwriting professionals. It’s newest division, Property Solutions, is aggressively working to create new mobile and online solutions for foreclosure, remodel and real estate professionals.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software focusing on web-based technologies of an industry leading business-to-business system.
Can solve problems through independent research. Ability to learn quicky and work independently and as part of a team. Developer is proficient in either front-end or back-end development and working toward proficiency in both.- Design, document, code, test, debug, configure, and perform all other software development tasks including:
- Implementing technical designs using best coding practices for maintainability and greatest flexibility for future enhancements.
- Installing, configuring, and administering development workstation software including editors, development servers, and client applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience preferred
Proficient in Java and related technologies OR proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, etc.). Some experience required in both front-end and back-end technologies.
Experience with document-oriented databases such as Mongo
Experience building enterprise web applications
Experience with web server and servlet container administration, Apache/Tomcat is helpful
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; works well using Agile Methodologies
Dedication to excellence and willingness to work hard
