Director of Product Development: Softlines

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Product Development: Softlines to lead our product development softlines division. This role will oversee the end-to-end development process for our softline products, including the exploration of bags, apparel, lunch boxes, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation and quality.Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. Your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:Support the company’s growth strategy by bringing new and exciting products to market.Lead the product development process from concept to launch for all softline products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, sales and supply chain to ensure product alignment with company strategy.Manage and mentor factory partners and/or a team of product developers, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform product development decisions.Oversee the creation of product specifications, prototypes, and samples.Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.Develop and manage the product development budget.Identify and mitigate risks throughout the product development lifecycle.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
