- Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution required.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Application of electrical engineering principals, particularly radar systems
- Familiarity with 4th and 5th generation aircraft a plus (F-15, F-16, A-10, F-35, etc.)
- Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
- Serve as the liaison between the repair depot and engineering division
- Prepare engineering studies, assemble data, coordinate with engineers, and support document finalization
- Review technical documentation for components and/or software involving risk analyses, assessments of component supportability and design effectiveness as compared to system requirements
- Review analyses for components to include design, fabrication, test, integration, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Evaluate component trade studies to include assessment of technical, schedule, and cost constraints; identify and quantify associated risks
- Requirement for some travel (10%-15%)
- Other duties as assigned
