Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsIn your role as Division Director of Clinical Pharmacy, you will handle oversight of pharmarcy operations a geographic cluster of ambulatory surgery centers in your market. Your primary goal is to be a resource that leads to optimum patient safety and patient outcomes.What you will do in this role:

Leverage your experience to be a subject matter expert on the efficacy of pharmaceuticals, clinical initiatives, and medication management standards for your division

Facilitate the development and implementation of safe, appropriate, cost effective medication and treatment guidelines, protocols, standard orders, and critical pathways as approved by appropriate your supporting committees

Facilitate the identification, resolution, implementation, communication and reporting of cost-effective medication use issues in collaboration with the facility management, medical, and clinical staff for your centers

Provides clinical consultation and clarification to your practitioners such as appropriate, cost-effective therapeutic alternatives to clinical and medical staff as needed

Travel to your centers for in-person support and audits to include montly travel to Utah surgery centers and quarterly travel to Alaska surgery centers.

What qualifications you will need:

Pharm D from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy or B.S.

Residency training preferred.

Board Certification preferred.

Minimum (3) three years of experience as a clinical/consultant pharmacist.

Minimum of 12 months health system experience preferred, but not required.
