Responsible to coordinate activities, provide administrative support, and assist in proposal preparation, submission and related activities in compliance with management policies, standard operating procedures, and directives. This is an in-office position at our Headquarters in Centerville, UT.Essential Functions:

Perform administrative support functions to the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Government Relations and the Vice President, Development.

Assist in other business development, government relations, and operational activities as needed.

Support development directors in all aspects of proposal development.

Write proposals and other material for all MTC divisions.

Help provide project planning that includes outlines, kick-off meetings, timeframes, data, research, and presentations.

Communicate and collaborate with subject matter experts and other MTC departments’ staff to obtain necessary information for each proposal.

Help identify, develop, and incorporate resources such as linkages, best practices, publications, research, regulations, policies, and requirements to produce high-quality proposals or documents.

Proactively assist in the day-to-day activities of proposal development and submission.

Ensure the use of proper editing, grammar, readability, and presentation of the work product is in accordance with MTC’s standards.

Assist in the development, review, and final quality check of proposals.

Work well with others to develop and foster teamwork in an environment with short deadlines, changing priorities, and duties.

Keep apprised of business development opportunities (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) and immediately notify appropriate stakeholders.

Provide document management, accessibility, and retention activities.

Maintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices.

Demonstrate a commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.

Ensure day-to-day activities promote sustainability and reduce the impact on the environment by minimizing waste and maximizing recycling; saving energy; and minimizing water usage.

It is expected the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, youth development, education, English, communications, technical writing, or related field.

Excellent writing skills is essential.

Must have the ability to develop and edit written materials.

Experience in Corrections and Job Corps Center programs preferred.

Experience may be substituted for education.

Must be willing and able to travel.

Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
