Job Description:This position supervises local volunteer services programs and day-to-day Gift Shop operations and assists leadership in directing and overseeing local volunteer services team to support the mission of delivering extraordinary care to our patients, guests, and the communities we serve.Job Essentials
Supports recruitment, screening, and placement of gift shop staff and volunteers and manages related paperwork.
Trains, supervises, and schedules gift shop staff and volunteers.
Responsible for day-to-day financial functions and meeting budget targets.
Responsible for inventory management and marks merchandise.
Supports manager in supervision and evaluation of volunteers and in responding to volunteer needs and inquiries on a timely basis.
Ensures compliance to regulatory and legal guidelines.
Supports leadership with data gathering, tracking, and reporting as needed.
Assists in reviewing and communicating volunteer services program policies and procedures.
Creates attractive displays and provides a clean, welcoming environment for customers.
Ensures proper and accurate transaction of money, credit cards, and reports.
Establishes and maintains positive team relationships with employees and volunteers.
Takes ownership for meeting customer needs and resolving concerns and issues.

Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience in a role requiring administrative, customer service, and organizational responsibilities, or in a retail sales environment including an understanding of visual merchandising, cash handling, training, and customer service.
Demonstrated experience in relating to and working with diverse populations.
Proven success in developing and promoting programs or initiatives in a related setting.
Computer skills in working with spreadsheets, word processing, data bases, and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a volunteer, healthcare, or community organization.
Physical Requirements:Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.
