This position is located in Cedar City, UT.Associate Fleet Technician:This is the entry level position in the Fleet Technician job series. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the garage and keeping it clean and orderly, as well as assisting in servicing automotive electrical, mechanical, and fuel systems.Additional Responsibilities may include: Maintaining company vehicles by keeping them well-lubricated, fueled, and cleaned Performing routine maintenance and repairs on automotive equipment. Repairing and maintaining construction equipment Servicing automotive equipment by lubricating, changing oil, repairing tires, washing, and packing wheel bearings Assist with mounting vehicle toolboxes, welding equipment, generators, and compressors Completes necessary records of work performed Perform other duties as requested or assignedFleet Technician:This is the second level position in the Fleet Technician job series. Distinguished from Associate Fleet Technician by exercising independent judgment and decision-making in planning, organizing and conducting work assignments. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the garage and keeping it clean and orderly, as well as servicing automotive electrical, mechanical, fuel, and compressed natural gas (CNG) systems.Additional Responsibilities may include: Maintaining company vehicles by keeping them well-lubricated, fueled, and cleaned Performing routine maintenance and repairs on automotive equipment.
