Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant in Wilmer, Texas, to join our team in the manufacturing industry on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for various financial operations, including maintaining financial records, analyzing business operations, and guiding entry-level accounting staff. This is a 2-3 month contract position with potential for contract-to-hire. Hybrid work schedule: Monday & Thursday onsite in Wilmer, TX/ Tuesday & Wednesday work in We Work office in Addison/ Friday work remotely.Senior Accountant with Accounts Payable focus (contract):Senior Accountant with strong financial knowledge and accounting skills that will focus on Accounts Payable. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle R12.Onsite between WeWork in Dallas & Manufacturing Facility in Wilmer (work remote on Friday)Responsibilities:

Complete full Accounts Payable Cycle - advanced understanding and experience of AP.

Reconcile accounts payable accounts – researching any discrepancies.

Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.

Analyze business operations, trends, costs, financial commitments, and obligations, to assist in projecting future expenses.

Assist in budget preparation and management activities.

Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current Oracle R12 software

Conduct periodic internal audits to assure financial reliability and transparency.

Top 3 Needs:

Strong Accounting Acumen – experience with full month-end close responsibilities

Excellent communication [Mandarin would be plus – but not required: translator available]

Flexibility as this role may be unfolding and not all aspects known at this time.
