Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in White Settlement, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of our team, working in the auction and large equipment rental industry. This role primarily involves managing financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate data entry.Responsibilities: Accurately enter financial data into QuickBooks Online and our internal system. Prepare, print, and distribute invoices to customers. Monitor and confirm payments received through wire transfers. Maintain comprehensive financial records to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate effectively with team members on shared tasks. Uphold professional communication standards with clients and vendors. Ensure alignment of sales invoices with our internal system. Stamp invoices as paid upon receiving wire transfers. Contribute to a supportive professional environment with diligent performance. Adhere to standard procedures while working independently. Requirements Proven experience in a similar role such as Accounting Clerk or relevant field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software. Excellent knowledge of Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP). Strong skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field is preferred. Professional certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
