About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in our Auto Lending Group as part of Consumer Technology. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.The Automation team is part of business value delivery that help agile teams operate on their own by providing custom automation framework. As an automation engineer, you'll need a wide range of technical skills and soft skills. You will be tasked to ensure that software releases are free of defects, errors or problems. You will need to understand the systems, networks, hardware and software to work with but also need the skills to communicate and collaborate with other business units, clients or customers. The job requires programming skills in C# or Java, Gherkin and SQL. You'll also need working knowledge of mobile, web and desktop applications as well as experience with BDD, Analytics, robotics, AI and machine learning. Leadership skills will also be important, since you'll need to lead cross-departmental efforts to help streamline business delivery.In this role, you will:

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

2+ years of writing automated regression tests using Selenium

2+ years of C# or Java experience

2+ year of experience in SpecFlow

2+ years of Agile experience

Desired Qualifications:

An industry-standard technology certification

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Strong debugging skills

Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban

Designed and Created Automation framework for web based applications from scratch

2+ years of BDD experience with Gherkin

2+ years of manual testing experience

4+ years of MS SQL server experience

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Understanding of testing terminologies

Familiarity with CI/CD principles, tools and processes

Job Expectations:
