About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Scrum Master to join our Technology organization and be part of our Chief Technology Office (CTO). Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com .As a Lead Scrum Master, you will serve a critical role in our transforming organization. You will lead, grow, coach, and support the Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads in your product by actively advocating for and coaching growth in Agile capabilities and mindset. You will coach the Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads in enterprise aligned agility practices and focus on continuous improvement while delivering value in a large-scale agile transformation. You will also facilitate productivity by identifying and assisting to remove impediments that may obstruct the Scrum Master's or Kanban Lead's goals.You will enable and accelerate quality outcomes by assertively raising issues and influencing change. Your contributions in this role will be an important element of our agile practice, helping realize our vision to enable and continuously improve our Scrum Master and Kanban Lead community.In this role, you will:

Manage and develop Scaled Agile portfolios of the highest complexity

Guide the teams to follow Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint

Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance

Oversee systemic impediments to team agility and guide the teams on methods to escalate

Deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met

Partner with discipline managers to convey their concerns to scrum teams about governance policies and adherence to corporate standards

Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the teams and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Interact with internal customers

Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Train other Scrum Masters and Kanban Leads and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

5+ years of experience facilitating Scrum Ceremonies (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning backlog refinement and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban

5+ years of experience in building JQL, managing, delivering Jira boards and dashboards

5+ years of experience with Jira and Confluence software

5+ years of experience in end-to-end project execution

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience with Technology Infrastructure (Mainframe, Network services, Cloud, Hosting Platforms, Data Center, Data Platforms)

Ability to work with situations of ambiguity, conflict, and uncertainty

Excellent communication and servant leadership skills

Problem solving and conflict resolution ability

Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
