Description We are in the process of recruiting a Controller for our team in the Pharm/Biotech industry. This role is based in Westlake, Texas, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Controller, you will be integral to our financial operations, including the management of accounting functions, the auditing process, and the preparation of budgets.Responsibilities for the Interim Controller: Handle diverse accounting functions to ensure financial operations run smoothly Conduct audits as part of our commitment to transparency and compliance Develop and oversee the budgeting process for effective financial planning Utilize strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and financial reporting Apply knowledge of the manufacturing industry to improve and streamline processes Engage in Public Accounting tasks, adhering to industry standards and practices Serve as a liaison with external auditors when needed Evaluate internal controls to ensure they are effective and compliant Prepare client-specific materials (PBCs) as part of our customer service commitmentRequirements Proficiency in managing comprehensive Accounting Functions Demonstrable experience in Auditing processes and practices Expertise in handling Budget Processes, including planning, development, and execution Background in Public Accounting is required Experience in Public Accounting Audit, including planning, execution, and reporting Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry, preferably in the Pharm/Biotech sector Ability to prepare and manage Prepared By Client (PBC) lists effectively.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
