Sr. Electrical Engineer

SUMMARY  You will help create autonomous robots by designing, integrating, and testing a wide range of technologies from thrusters to acoustic modems.  DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS  Perform system-level design and integration of in-house and third-party subsystems. Execute the full design cycle for new electronics development (concept, detailed design, manufacture, build, test). Troubleshoot a variety of technologies including electromechanical, communication, power distribution, and sensor systems. Design and execute verification tests for new systems and integrations. Develop embedded software, printed circuit boards, and electrical assemblies. Perform technical communication via drawings, reports, and presentations. Work independently; prioritizing and executing on multiple efforts efficiently.
