Description Robert Half has an exciting CONTRACT opportunity in the Webster, Texas area that is hiring immediately! Our client is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in both accounts payable and accounts receivable to assist in maintaining records accurately and efficiently. This position is a CONTRACT role that is seeking to hire immediately! Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and issue payments to vendors
Assist with accounts receivable duties, including invoicing and collections
Post customer payments to accounts and reconcile accounts receivable ledger
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed
Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable
Proficiency in accounting software such as [mention specific software if applicable]
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
