Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Furniture Sewing Professional to join our team. As a key member of our upholstery staff, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality furniture pieces through your sewing expertise. The first project we need help with is sewing two couch cushions for a custom couch. Industrial sewing machine and overlock machine provided onsite.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with upholstery team to produce furniture according to specifications.
Execute sewing tasks efficiently and with precision.
Ability to create patterns is preferred, but at minimum, capability to read and interpret patterns accurately.
Ensure that all finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sewing, preferably in a furniture or upholstery setting.
Proficiency in pattern-making is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Reliable and punctual.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
