Description We are offering an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team in the financial services industry, located in Waco, Texas. In this role, you will be functioning as a Collections Specialist, tasked with the responsibility of managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and taking necessary action to collect delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitor customer credit accounts to identify delinquency or other issues Conduct appropriate telephone collection activities to minimize delinquent debt Post all payments and fees to customer accounts in accordance with company policy Carry out data entry of loan applications and documents Process credit loan applications and sign checks for loans and branch expenses Close loans as directed by management Assist the Branch Manager with overall operations of the branch office, particularly in the areas of customer relations, accounts building, and compliance Develop and improve customer relations and provide exceptional service to all customers Utilize Microsoft and Microsoft Excel for various tasks Provide Call Center Customer Service and operate within Call Center Operations Use Spanish Language skills for Spanish Translation when necessary Comply with all company policies and all State and Federal lending regulations. Requirements Proficiency in Credit Collections and Debt Collection processes Experience in Commercial Collections and Cash Collections Familiarity with Collection Processes in both Consumer and Commercial sectors Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Keyword Research strategies and tools Experience in Call Center Operations, including Customer Service Fluency in Spanish Language and ability to perform Spanish Translation Familiarity with the financial services industry and its regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Knowledge of legal and ethical collection practices and regulations Willingness to continue learning and improving in professional skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
